An AI-driven bot that flirts with you when you introduce yourself, built with SvelteKit and OpenAI.

NOTE: My "free grant" from OpenAI has run out. For the time being, I'm taking the live app down, but opening the code up publicly. You can still use the program with your personal OpenAI API key.

Overview

This app calls OpenAI's API, using the DaVinci model to generate a flirtatious response to the user's introduction. I'd been playing around with OpenAI's API within SvelteKit for a while, but if it weren't for being able to reference Huntabyte's content and code, I wouldn't have been able to get this project hosted and working correctly in production. Especially when it came to setting up sse.js and using the correct edge runtime on Vercel.

The "bot" is set to be rather neutral, a "human" who is interested in and attracted to everyone, but with a few quirks. You can introduce yourself however you like, but I generally provide name, position, and state/country.
